Stone Real Estate has appointed to its management team one of the country’s top performers, whose stellar career at McGrath has established himself as one of the best real estate trainers in the country.

Peter Malouf has taken up the role of Stone Real Estate head of training, after a significant stint with McGrath in Sydney.

Stone CEO Peter Mumford said that Mr Malouf is one of the most respected and sought-after trainers in the Australian property industry.

Mr Malouf is renowned for his passion and intimate knowledge of how to create top sales teams, the CEO said.

“Peter is one of few real estate trainers in Australia able to bring to the position an exceptionally high level of experience in both property sales and auctioneering.”

Mr Mumford also said that attracting someone of Mr Malouf’s calibre was a huge testament to the Stone brand.

“Mr Malouf is renowned for being among the best in his field — if not the best,” the CEO said.

“His  joining Stone clearly shows the solidity and great attraction of our brand.”

Mr Malouf said that much consideration went into his decision to switch brands.

“Stone Real estate represents for me an agile, nimble business that is expanding in a well-controlled and strategic manner,” Mr Malouf said.

“Stone is on a good trajectory and I admire the fact that they have made a point of being highly selective about who they bring on board.”

Mr Malouf said that he was attracted to Stone’s big-picture approach.

“I can clearly see that Stone CEO Peter Mumford wants people to be in a good space and environment.

“He understands first-hand the pressures working in this industry can put on your kids or your family and has created a place where everyone involved in Stone’s offices and franchises can be comfortable, inspired and truly thrive.”

Mr Malouf added that his first-hand experience will put him in good stead in his new role.

“I know I can truly help agents increase revenue and productivity because I have enjoyed being at the coalfaces of both sales and especially auctioneering for so long with major agencies.

“I pride myself on being able to offer them insights and progressive strategies to improve their sales skills and grow their own businesses.”
