One rising agency has opened a new office in one of its key growth markets after recruiting an award-winning team from the McGrath network.
NGU Real Estate is expanding south with the opening of an office on the Gold Coast.
The former award-winning McGrath team of Karen Stewart and Edward Smyth will direct NGU Real Estate’s first Gold Coast office.
It is the fifth NGU Real Estate office to open since the company launched in 2016.
CEO Emil Juresic said that he is excited about the new expansion initiative.
“Karen and Edward are two of the best real estate agents on the Gold Coast,” the CEO said.
“Karen has a fantastic wealth of experience with an outstanding history of strong results, while Edward is an exciting force after just 18 months in the game.”
Mr Juresic added that in their first year together, Ms Stewart and Mr Smyth recorded a 95 per cent clearance ratio, which “quickly established themselves” as top earners in the region.
He said that he expects them to excel under the new brand.
“We look forward to helping them take their service to the next level.
“NGU Real Estate is creating noise on the Gold Coast, with Karen and Edward as directors at the helm.”
Mr Smyth said that NGU Real Estate’s innovative approach aligns with their goals.
“Our ambition is to be number one in Queensland and it’s time to take it to the next level,” Mr Smyth said.
“Real estate has evolved to become more of a team game, hence why we’re teaming up with NGU because we can take our business to a new level with them.”
Ms Stewart, a 17-year veteran of the industry, said that she is equally as enthusiastic about joining the “forward-thinking” group.
