The Agency has deepened its impression on Sydney’s lucrative upper north shore market with the appointment of a go-getting female agent rearing to build a powerful team and dominate the region.

Agent Kirsten Mueller has led an extraordinary career to date, from serving in the Middle East and Timor with the Australian Army to her rapid rise in real estate.

Ms Mueller said that she is thrilled to have joined the network.

“I am so excited to work for a brand and around people where I don’t feel like my wings are clipped anymore,” the agent said. “Around people that support you and push you to succeed and believe in you. It is now my time to soar like an eagle and I couldn’t be more excited.

“This is a very competitive industry as we all know, so being different from the competition is key.”

Ms Mueller has been watching the progress of The Agency with interest.

“When I saw what Matt Lahood had done in stepping out and starting up his own company, I was intrigued but nervous,” she said.

“I knew if anything would tempt me to make a change, it would be this.”

She said that Mr Lahood was instrumental in her making the choice to move.

“I called Matt and he was amazing,” she said.

“He showed me everything and made me feel so welcome and comfortable, which was really important to me.

“He really understood why I had to do this and supported me. I will forever be thankful to Matt for that. He is a great leader.”

Ms Mueller said that she has “big plans” for 2018, aiming to build a “powerful” team around her.

“I love being a part of a high-energy team, teaching, learning and watching others succeed. Egos, on the other hand, make for a negative workspace, and put owners off, too.”

CEO Matt Lahood said that there are a number of traits that set Ms Mueller apart.

“Firstly, her tenacious work ethic, which she attributes to the rigorous training she received in the army on everything from the perfection of her uniform to her daily military duties on assignment,” the CEO said.

“Secondly, the care and genuine interest she shows in her client’s circumstances.”

He added that he is pleased to welcome Ms Mueller to the team.

“Kirsten is one of the most focused and professional agents I have met,” Mr Lahood said.

“She has a laser focus and an unfailing dedication to her loyal database.”

The Agency’s national director of sales, Thomas McGlynn, said that Ms Mueller’s personal brand is tied to her remarkable work ethic.

“She has a disciplined focus that ensures no stone is left unturned when selling her client’s property. She is hugely respected in her community.”
