Queensland Sotheby’s International Realty has expanded its existing team of sales executives with the recruitment of an experienced pair of former franchise owners in Ashgrove in the inner suburb of Brisbane.

Explore Property’s Kelly Qualtrough and Sean Wallis are the latest agents to join the company, following in the footsteps of Port Douglas’ Barbara Wolveridge and North Gold Coast’s Lisa Halpin.

CEO Paul Arthur said that the new appointments are strategically important to the business.

They are a welcome addition to the Paddington team in Brisbane, the CEO said.

“We are thrilled to have Kelly and Sean as part of our rapidly growing team, both of whom are committed to excellence and have values aligning superbly with the Queensland Sotheby’s International brand,” Mr Arthur said.

“They are known throughout Brisbane’s northwest for their professional and personalised approach to helping clients manage the transaction of their most prized possession.”

Mr Arthur said that in 2017, Ms Qualtrough and Mr Wallis were responsible for the transactions of more than 100 properties while also “successfully operating a strong property management business”.

Ms Qualtrough said that the pair thought long and hard about the move.

“It was a difficult decision for us to close the doors on our own agency,” the agent said.

“We are dedicated to our clients and knew we had to align ourselves with people we respect and a brand that can help us make a difference.”

But she said that having an extended reach was a significant draw factor.

“Sotheby’s International Realty’s 930 offices in 69 countries will greatly assist our clients in the marketing of their properties, allowing us to give the best service possible.”

Their rent roll will merge with that of Queensland Sotheby’s International Realty.
