Earlier in the year, RE/MAX held its week-long annual R4 convention in Las Vegas where eight Australians were acknowledged for their achievements during the 2017 calendar year.

In the prestigious leadership category, Brad and Milly Neilson, from RE/MAX Bayside Properties, bear the mantle of Broker Owners of the Year – GLOBAL.

RE/MAX Advantage, with broker owners Travis Gill and Tandi Gill, own Top Office – GLOBAL for the volume of closed transactions in 2017.

For the hotly contested Team Leader Top 10 – GLOBAL Residential, based on commissions earned through 2017, four RE/MAX Australia sales associates are on the list. They are Dave Neilson, RE/MAX Bayside Properties (3); Mark Clayton, RE/MAX Hinterland (6); Simon Salm, RE/MAX Bayside Properties (8); and Todd Gerhardt, RE/MAX Advantage (9).

Simon Salm has also earned a place in the elite Circle of Legends. Qualification requires a career of at least 10 years with the network and over US$10 million in RE/MAX commissions. The 79 inductees at the 2018 R4 Convention represented the most ever and bring the total number of active Circle of Legends members in the RE/MAX global network to 521.

RE/MAX Australia and New Zealand managing director Michael Davoren lauded the people who were acknowledged for their achievements.

“These were extraordinary people who have accomplished amazing things and are the best in the business,” the MD said.

“But there were a few from our Australian network who were unable to be on stage in Las Vegas to collect their awards and these truly remarkable entrepreneurs are still acknowledged.”

With so many top producers and leaders in the global network of well over 115,000, RE/MAX held three memorable events over the course of the week.

A Special Awards Luncheon, a 100 Percent Club Luncheon and the Best of RE/MAX Night of the Stars Awards Gala honoured the top performers from around the world.

RE/MAX also released its International Top 100 ranking for January to December 2017 (which exclude the US and Canada), featuring 31 sales teams and six individual sales associates.
