Bespoke real estate firm The Agency has partnered with Sydney’s premier weight for age races as part of a new deal struck with the Australian Turf Club.
The new partnership will see The Agency have naming rights to the George Ryder Stakes as well as naming rights to Melbourne Cup race day in November.
The Agency George Ryder Stakes, one of five Group 1 races that makes up the Longines Golden Slipper Day, is also ranked as one of the highest rated races in the world.
The $1 million race for the past two years has been dominated by the world’s equally highest rated horse, Winx, who is again aiming to win.
The acting CEO of the Australian Turf Club, James Heddo, said that it is a good deal for both parties.
“The Agency is partnering with one of the strongest and most prestigious races in Sydney, and the Australian Turf Club warmly welcomes this modern firm to our sponsor family.”
The Agency’s CEO, Matt Lahood, said that he is proud to be associated with the ATC.
He added that he has worked with them as a “trusted” property and investment adviser for 20 years.
“I am honoured to work in partnership with the Australian Turf Club. I greatly value the relationship I have held with this prestigious sporting organisation,” Mr Lahood said.
“The Agency looks forward to supporting the ATC well into the future.”
The Agency George Ryder Stakes will be run as part of the Longines Golden Slipper Day at Rosehill Gardens on 24 March.
