Nick Bordin is returning to Elders Real Estate Lennox Head after a career in Sydney for McGrath and The Agency.
Mr Bordin said that he has been involved in the sale of over $1.5 billion of property in Sydney but is making the move to Elders for the culture and innovation of the team.
“Elders Real Estate is such a great company to work with. The national network is a huge advantage and the marketing and corporate support tools available are excellent,” the agent said.
Mr Bordin, originally from the Northern Rivers town of Kyogle, puts his success in Sydney down to his country upbringing and ethics, which have kept him grounded, despite the competitiveness of the big city.
“I was drawn to real estate because I like meeting people and watching their life journey and helping them as their property needs change,” the agent said.
“I love being trusted to help people with one of the biggest decisions they will ever make. And my philosophy is simple: I treat people the way that I would expect my family to be treated.”
The return to Lennox Head is a homecoming to both Elders and Elders Lennox Head for where Mr Bordin first started his real estate career and met his wife, Hannah.
Mr Bordin said that improvements in the North Coast infrastructure, proximity to airports and relaxed lifestyle are all draw cards to the area.
“We’re looking forward to implementing some new ideas and different strategies in the Lennox, Ballina and Byron property markets. We can’t wait to get started,” Mr Bordin said.
He credited McGrath and The Agency with getting him ready for the experience and said that the skills he learnt with them would serve him well.
“The experience and skills I have learnt in Sydney working for McGrath Estate Agents and with the Ben Collier team at The Agency will no doubt serve me well when returning to Elders Real Estate Lennox Head,” the agent said.
