A local Brisbane agent has teamed up with Belle Property Ascot to realise his dream to become a principal within two years.
Matt O’Neill, who started in real estate eight years ago, has previously worked at Place property where he said he worked from the ground up to build his reputation.
“I started from nothing and built traction through genuine hard work and prospecting like cold calls, door-knocking and tracking listings that weren’t selling.”
Unfortunately, there is no shortcut to success, or a hidden key, Mr O’Neill said.
“There’s no secret to my business growth, just focus, consistency and never compromising on quality,” the agent said.
Mr O’Neill started with Belle Property in March with the drive to implement a plan so that his personal goal of business ownership would become a reality.
“I want to become a joint owner of a Belle Property office within the next two years.
“After eight years as an agent, I don’t want to risk stagnating. I was looking for a new environment and the Belle Property Ascot team offered me that.”
Having worked across Brisbane’s western suburbs, Mr O’Neill, now by working at the new office, will be able to break into the north side, with a focus on Hendra and Clayfield.
Mr O’Neill knows that there is hard work ahead to help him realise his goal.
“It all starts with hitting the phones; be the hunter, not the hunted,” the agent said.
Head of Belle Property Queensland Jon Iceton was excited to have Mr O’Neill on board.
“Matt has proven himself as one of Brisbane’s leading real estate agents and I have every confidence that his success will continue under the Belle Property banner. We are lucky to have him join us and we look forward to supporting Matt as he embarks on the next phase of his career,” Mr Iceton said.
