A new marketing firm is promising agents exclusive control of their lead generating campaigns with a new marketing strategy that gets rid of old-school tactics.

Emma Barr, the founder and director of The Barr Essentials, created iLEADS to help agents grow their businesses.

She said that what separates iLEADS from the big corporations like realestate.com.au or LocalAgentFinder is the exclusivity of the leads.

“We are actually advertising through our agent’s business Facebook pages, so the leads that are coming through are exclusive to that agent,” the founder said.

iLEADS works with the agents to create campaigns that drive traffic and tailors the audience to the postcodes the agents choose.

“Each agent is given complete exclusivity across three postcodes. We then work with them to build a series of tailored landing pages, backed by a Facebook advertising campaign, which drives traffic tailored to their business,” the founder said.

The system brings prospects to the agents when they are ready for the conversation, rather than the agent shooting in the dark, Ms Barr added.

“It’s giving the agent the power because this person, this prospect, is actually requesting the agent to call them,” Mr Barr said.

Ms Barr added that another upside of the engine is to generate positive leads without using time-wasting tactics.

“I found so many tasks were just time-consuming without any results. I just thought there is so much potential with Facebook and social media, so we started building out a system that could be implemented and mirrored across real estate agents across Australia,” the founder said.

Ms Barr said that not only were the tasks time-consuming, but they also had a negative effect on the attitudes towards agents.

“There were times when we would spend eight hours a day calling every database we could get our hands on. It was degrading and further tarnishing the poor reputation that real estate agents already had.”

Ms Barr said that agents who had signed up with iLEADS were already having success with their campaigns.

“One of our agents we collected 135 leads in 60 days and 13 turned into sales with an average sale price of $1.2 million. Another agent had an 80 per cent conversion rate on the appraisals that came through,” Ms Barr said.

The biggest takeaway of iLEADS was that it is changing the conversation that agents are having, the founder added.

“It’s putting agents back in that position of power and opening the conversation up and getting them in the front door,” Ms Barr said.
