One network is escaping the city and hosting its Australasian convention on the tropical Hamilton Island for three days of training and motivational talks.
Hundreds of agents from Century 21 will descend on the island to listen to internationally renowned speakers and company announcements and to attend special events and training.
The event’s keynote speak is leading peak performance coach Rik Ruston, who has shared his training with over 50,000 people across 1,500 presentations.
Mr Ruston will be joined by a host of other performance, sales and leadership coaches that are still to be announced.
Chairman and owner of Century 21 Australasia, Charles Tarbey, said that the timing was perfect to build the convention on an island.
“Many real estate markets have been challenging across Australia and New Zealand of late for different reasons. Some markets are experiencing moderating growth for the first time in a long time, some are rebounding after long periods of stagnation and some markets are starting to boom,” Mr Tarbey said.
“In light of these varying conditions, we felt that this year was the ideal time to hold the convention away from the common locations and get our agents to a destination where they could have a true working holiday, away from a lot of the hustle and bustle.”
Mr Tarbey added that the agents across the network were excited about the event, and he hoped it would be one of the best yet.
“The response from agents has been incredible so far, and we are looking forward to delivering on what should be one of our most inspiring, enjoyable and educational conventions yet,” the chairman said.
The convention will allow agents to enjoy the island before having two days of speakers and training that will motivate the agents and get them ready for the future.
“We have assembled an incredible line-up of speakers that will both motivate agents and help them sharpen the skills needed to succeed in changing property markets,” Mr Tarbey said.
Century 21’s convention will be held in June and will also be the venue for the annual awards dinner for the agency.
