A growing community outside of Brisbane will be the site for the sixth office of a young Queensland agency as it seeks to capture the residential boom.
NGU Real Estate, which launched two years ago, is opening its new office in Greater Springfield, the first privately built city in Australia.
Greater Springfield is Australia’s largest master-planned community and will house a total of 138,000 residents when completed.
The development has already welcomed over 40,000 residents and by 2030 plans to be a substantial regional city hub that is only 40 minutes via a train to Brisbane.
NGU Real Estate CEO Emil Juresic said that he was excited to have Greater Springfield director Kurt Cockburn on board.
“Kurt has shown great leadership while dominating in his area for the past two years,” Mr Juresic said.
Mr Juresic added that Mr Cockburn’s values were invaluable to NGU Real Estate.
“His passion, drive, determination and persistence align with our ‘never give up’ ethos,” the CEO said.
“We are very proud and lucky to have incredible, motivated, honest, hardworking people join our NGU Real Estate family.”
For Mr Cockburn, the opportunity to lead the office was too good to decline.
“I have worked tirelessly for the past two years to make this happen,” Mr Cockburn said.
Mr Cockburn added that NGU was set up to provide the best for the Greater Springfield community.
“I look forward to serving the Greater Springfield community by delivering the most elite, advanced and strategic real estate sales systems,” the director said.
It is also a chance for Mr Cockburn to sell to his own area where he can bring his local knowledge to the table.
“Greater Springfield is my home and I am proud to lead the NGU Real Estate charge into this high-growth region,” the director said.
