One of Queensland’s fastest growing property groups has made a strategic promotion as part of its 2020 plan to open 40 offices.

Coronis has appointed Adam Empringham as the new sales director, a role which he will step into in July after 11 years of service with the company.

Managing director Andrew Coronis made the announcement and said that Mr Empringham has been a huge part of the business for the last few years.

“I would like to congratulate Adam on his promotion. He has been an integral part of our leadership team and instrumental in helping our business consistently achieve year-on-year growth,” Mr Coronis said.

Mr Coronis added that Mr Empringham had worked his way up through the company and was a shining example of what careers can be at Coronis.

“Adam is the perfect example of the career progression opportunities available at Coronis. He came across from another agency and has worked his way up to sales director, which is what this business is about,” the MD said.

Mr Empringham said that the role was an honour and he was excited to be with the company during this landmark change.

“It’s a really dynamic time within our industry and I’m very appreciative to have been entrusted with this opportunity in one of the most progressive companies in real estate,” the new sales director said.

Mr Empringham said that he has some goals to hit and was confident that he had the right team behind him to meet them.

“I have some ambitious goals that I want to achieve in my first 12 months, but I am confident that the team and I are more than capable of rising to the challenge.”

The current sales director, Craig Gillies, will be transitioned into a new role, as head of growth, where he will focus on expanding sales and diversifying Coronis’ allied business.

Mr Gillies said that he was excited to see Mr Empringham move into this new stage of his career and was proud to leave the role to him.

“I couldn’t be prouder of Adam and what he has achieved in his career. It’s very rewarding to see our team members grow and take the next step in their careers by offering them new opportunities within our business,” Mr Gillies said.

Mr Gillies said that in his new role, he could now concentrate on growing Coronis and upskilling the team to hit the 2020 targets.

“With Adam looking after the sales team, I will now concentrate on finding new talent, mentoring people through our training program and upskilling our existing team to guarantee we hit our 2020 target by doubling our sales team,” Mr Gillies said.
