A new digital experience has been launched by realestate.com.au to connect sellers with agents on the platform.
Agent Match, the second product to be launched as part of the Agent Edge family, will connect interested sellers with agents in the market.
The tool will connect agents with sellers who are interested in finding an agent to sell their property and will provide appraisal opportunities and the chance for agents to pitch for listings.
According to realestate.com.au, there are over 700,000 sellers on the site each month and Agent Match will target those sellers and send them to seller content.
The seller can then research the agents based on what is important to them, and then once they choose, the agent will be immediately notified that they have been connected.
The seller can choose multiple agents and it is up to the individual agent to accept the request and close the deal.
Andrew Rechtman, the REA Group executive general manager, residential, said that Agent Match opens the playing field for all agents and gives sellers all the options to choose from.
“Unlike other agent comparison tools in the market, sellers are not given a pre-determined selection to choose from,” Mr Rechtman said.
Mr Rechtman said that Agent Match was the next step in making the lives of agents easier.
“Agent Match is our next step in delivering a digital experience that takes the hard work out of lead prospecting and connects agents with home owners who are ready to sell,” the EGM said.
Mr Rechtman said that the tool would give control to the sellers while still allowing agents to thrive.
“Ultimately, the seller is in control, sharing their personal details only when they’re ready to connect with agents. Then it’s over to the agents to do what they do best, and close the deal,” Mr Rechtman said.
