One of Australia's fastest growing brands has opened an office in a rising Sydney market.

Laing+Simmons has opened a new office in Sydney’s northwest suburb of Kellyville and it is operated by principal Sunny Lee and his team.

“This is a new direction for the team and we think we have timed it right,” Mr Lee said.

Mr Lee said that the market was in a challenging position and they needed a strong brand to let them focus on their clients.

“The market today is challenging, and you need a strong brand with the right support to enable experienced agents to do what they do best, and that’s talk to people,” the principal said.

Mr Lee said that the Kellyville market could buck the wider Sydney trend.

“Kellyville and surrounding suburbs have an opportunity to buck the wider Sydney trend in real estate, with new infrastructure investment, better connections and relative affordability compared to other suburban markets making the northwest a real drawcard,” the principal said.

This is the latest opening for Laing+Simmons as they expand further into the market, said managing director Leanne Pilkington.

“Last year, Laing+Simmons celebrated 50 years of leadership at the local market level, and this year we’re in the process of growing our presence in the key metropolitan and regional locations we’ve identified to ensure this position of local market strength increases,” Ms Pilkington said.

Ms Pilkington added that they were proud to have Mr Lee and his team on board as they were locals who knew their market.

“Sunny and his team know the Kellyville area intimately. They’re locals themselves, and they have a firm focus on putting the customer’s needs first. All in all, they exemplify what the Laing+Simmons brand is about and we’re proud to welcome them to the family,” the MD said.
