An increase in buyers migrating from the stuttering Sydney and Melbourne markets has pushed a well-known independent agency in Brisbane’s Redland City region to join forces with the Raine & Horne network.
Business partners Stephen Anderson, Marie Dodds, Damian Dodds and JeanPierre De La Vega have launched Raine & Horne Birkdale.
Mr Anderson will be responsible for business administration, Ms Dodds will oversee property management, and Mr Dodds and Mr De La Vega will be accountable for the sales operations.
“Queensland’s population is projected to reach five million this month, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics,” Mr Anderson said.
“Many of our state’s new arrivals hail from New South Wales and Victoria where Raine & Horne is a well-known brand.
“We’ve also recognised that more southern state investors are seeking property in Birkdale, Redlands and surrounding suburbs, which is driving up sales and property management activity.”
Mr Anderson said that the benefits of joining Raine & Horne include commercial longevity, cost savings and the leverage of group marketing.
“Raine & Horne seems like a good fit for our business as it gives us the tools we need to make a bigger splash in Birkdale and surrounding suburbs.
“We’ve seen a lot of independents start and fail, and Raine & Horne has been in business for such a long period, it seems like a sound decision.
“As an independent, you spend a fortune designing your artwork and signs. At Raine & Horne, you click a few buttons, and it’s all done for you through the group’s marketing systems.”
Mr Anderson also said that he is keen to tap into Raine & Horne’s Amplify lead generation technology.
“Amplify has helped the Raine & Horne website’s SEO move up some places, and the click-through rates are [impressive],” Mr Anderson said.
“This activity has translated to a surge in appraisals and buyer enquiries. We’re enthusiastic about the possibilities afforded by Amplify and feel it will enable vendors in Birkdale to sell their properties faster.”
