LJ Hooker has congratulated all of its network members who have been shortlisted as finalists in the annual REB Awards.
LJ Hooker network agencies accounted for eight categories in the 2018 REB Awards while the brand is once again a finalist in both the Digital Presence and Training & Education categories.
LJ Hooker won both of these categories in the 2017 REB Awards.
LJ Hooker network chief Graeme Hyde said that the pool of talent in the REB Awards continued to grow year-on-year.
“The awards recognise excellence in our industry on a national scale, and each year the calibre of entrants rises. It’s pleasing to see the depth of our brand represented across the spectrum of real estate specialties again in 2018,” the network chief said.
“LJ Hooker is especially proud that it has representatives in 10 categories — more than a third of the disciplines being recognised by REB.
“Innovative training and education and transformative digital strategies are core priorities for LJ Hooker to guide our businesses through an ever-evolving landscape. Being recognised by the judging panel in these awards divisions shows we’re delivering on our network commitments.”
Mr Hyde also said that the network’s businesses didn’t regard awards as a reason to get out of bed in the morning.
“At the end of the day, their customers are the reason they do what they do, and always will be.
“But I also think it’s brilliant that there’s platforms such as the REB Awards from which our sales agents, property managers, principals and support teams can be rightly recognised as being at the pinnacle of our industry.”

LJ Hooker Double Bay – Sales Office of the Year (Metropolitan), Property Management Business of the Year (7 or more property managers)
LJ Hooker Sunnybank Hills – Property Management Business of the Year (7 or more property managers)
LJ Hooker Nerang – Sales Office of the Year (Regional)
LJ Hooker St Peters – Property Management Business of the Year (6 or less property managers)
Emily-Jane Megraw (LJ Hooker Nerang) – Office Administrator of the Year
Jessica Xerri (LJ Hooker Oran Park) – Rising Star
Rob Bonomi (LJ Hooker St Peters) – Rising Star
HY Kim (LJ Hooker Sunnybank Hills) – Newcomer of the Year
Amber Davey (LJ Hooker Sunnybank Hills) – Office Administrator of the Year
Matthew Panozzo (LJ Hooker St Peters) – Property Manager of the Year – Metro
