A Ray White team in a lucrative market has made the switch to a niche network who is moving into the area.

The Laing+Simmons Hunters Hill team, formerly of Ray White, will provide a suite of services to the local community, drawing on the team’s local knowledge.

The principal of the team, Richard Pickton, said that the decision to switch was based on culture.

“We recognised it was time to elevate our business to the next level in terms of growth, and to do this, we wanted to ensure we would have the right support and, importantly, the right culture behind us,” the principal said.

Mr Pickton said that the local market was going through an interesting phase, but there was still demand in the area.

“The real estate market locally is going through an interesting new phase where buyers are understandably taking a more cautious approach to maximise value for money, yet the quality of properties and wonderful lifestyle on offer in Hunters Hill ensure demand remains robust,” the principal said.

Mr Pickton said that their local knowledge and the culture of Laing+Simmons would allow the team to move forward into this new phase.

“Local expertise is the most crucial ingredient in these changing times and this, combined with the customer-first focus that characterises Laing+Simmons, will hold us in great stead going forward,” Mr Pickton said.

Laing+Simmons network growth manager Travis Wentriro said that the new office was a key part in the company’s growth plans.

“This is a market where we needed to have a presence. With Richard and his team now part of the family, we’re fortunate to welcome the area’s leading team to the group and we look forward to supporting their long-term growth,” Mr Wentriro said.

Mr Wentriro added that this office was the latest in a string of new offices and there would be more to come.

“We’re in advanced discussions with several best-in-business operators, both in Sydney and in key regional areas, and anticipate making some further exciting announcements in the near future,” the principal said.
