Property listing site VIEW.com.au has announced the appointment of a new CEO who will lead the rapidly evolving company.
Toby Balazs, former CEO of REIV and realestateVIEW, will take over from VIEW’s Enzo Raimondo in the middle of July.
Mr Balazs has worked with VIEW for over 16 years and has served as a key member of their online strategy team since 2004.
Mr Balazs said that he was honoured to be selected to lead VIEW into the future.
“Growing VIEW from the third-largest player is a challenge I accept with both confidence and determination,” Mr Balazs said.
Mr Balazs said that he wants to lead VIEW to bigger and better things that resonate in the market.
“I am committed to continuing VIEW’s momentum by offering lower fees for agents to list property, and importantly, delivering consumers an exceptional level of real estate industry information,” the CEO said.
VIEW chairman John Piccolo said that Mr Balazs is a dynamic thinker who embodies VIEW’s values.
“His track record in executing transformative digital programs has been exceptional and he embodies VIEW’s values of innovation, integrity and fostering strong family ideals,” the chairman said.
Mr Piccolo added that VIEW’s mission to make property buying easier will intensify with the appoint of Mr Balazs.
“VIEW’s continued mission to make property buying more intuitive, easier to understand and informative will only be intensified with Toby joining the team,” Mr Piccolo said.
VIEW is currently rolling out a rebrand and new site experience, more of which will be released later in the year.
The company recently launched Property-360, a price estimate tool for Australian properties that gives agents and consumers the ability to track the value of a residence.
