A major new appointment has bolstered the ranks of Ray White’s commercial team to boost offerings in the market.
Ray White Commercial has hired industry veteran Matthew Ramsay as director and partner to work alongside specialist Jeff Moxham.
Mr Moxham, Ray White Commercial NSW managing director and partner, said that Mr Ramsay’s experience and knowledge in the sector would be a huge boost to the company.
“Matthew’s experience across all asset classes will bring a wealth of knowledge. He is a senior figure in the industry and we are excited to have him on board,” the NSW MD said.
Mr Ramsay joins Ray White after 20 years of industry experience, during which time he became director of the CBRE Residential Development Sites Sales Division.
Some of his high-profile deals included the sale of Channel 7’s Pyrmont building for $180 million and Channel 9’s Willoughby building for $147.5 million.
Mr Ramsay said that he was keen to join the team and to be responsible for multiple asset classes.
“I am very excited about joining the Ray White Commercial business and the opportunities ahead in an established business with a view on growth and focus across multiple asset classes,” Mr Ramsay said.
Mr Ramsay added that the market was constantly changing, and that Ray White could offer something unique to consumers.
“The market is going through a transition phase and challenges in certain areas, and we can offer our clients a unique offering with our knowledge and experience,” the new director said.
Dan White, Ray White’s Commercial director, said that Mr Ramsay was a great fit for the business.
“He [Mr Ramsay] has an impeccable reputation for client-focused business, and Jeff and I are looking forward to growing our business together,” Mr White said.
