A full-service agency has partnered with real estate portal Domain to give a greater range of benefits to its agents and customers.

Upside, an Australian-owned agency that offers property owners a low fee and no commission in selling homes, announced the tech-based collaboration to benefit their vendors.

Upside offers vendors a one-off fee of $7,500 or $8,500 for auction, and in its full-service sale, it promises to include full appraisals, open home management, signage and advertising.

Vendors will now also get access to use the Upside online platform, as well as gain fresh insights into the listing thanks to the Domain integration.

The integration will give vendors access to views and enquiries as well as lead generation, allowing them to accurately monitor performance within an audience set.

Upside CEO Adam Rigby said that transparency was a key factor for Upside, and this new integration would allow for even greater transparency.

“Vendors will be able to log directly into our online platform for an up-to-the-minute update on performance stats, while buyers will receive automatic responses with relevant information on the selected property,” Mr Rigby said.

Domain’s product director for group platforms, Simon Farrugia, said that they were pleased to collaborate with agencies in the industry.

“We are pleased to be collaborating with companies in the real estate industry like Upside to take advantage of technology-driven innovation to deliver new value and better experiences for agents and consumers.

“This has always been a key motivation and component of the vision driving the Domain Group public platform.”

Upside launched in 2017 and is the latest in a growing market of flat-fee agencies, of which the most well known is the UK agency Purplebricks.

Since launching, the agency has sold over 130 properties throughout Sydney and Melbourne where they are based.
