A recent interactive learning event for the members of a national agency was aimed at propelling the real estate careers of attendees.

First National Real Estate held a two-day Complete Salesperson course, run by Lee Woodward, over the weekend for more than 150 of their sales agents and property managers.

The attendees came from Victoria, Tasmania, New Zealand and Vanuatu and were a mix of rookies, well-experienced agents and everyone in between.

Jake Spargo from First National Bonnici & Associates in Victoria said that the course was invaluable, particularly to those just starting out.

“Lee Woodward has such a uniquely simple way of outlining the processes that lead to success,” Mr Spargo said.

“When you are new to real estate, I don’t think anybody could provide you with a clearer picture of what to do, how to go about it and how to keep doing it consistently so you can avoid the highs and lows that lead to so many salespeople crashing out of the industry in their first 12 months.”

The course is seen by the group to be a kick-starter for those in the industry and condenses 30 years of Mr Woodward’s experience into a simple model that is beneficial to all.

Even business owners can walk away with something new to think about, said First National Victoria chairman William Bonnici.

“I’ll certainly be taking a fresh look at several areas in which I believe my business can improve or at least be streamlined, but more importantly, I’m delighted to see how engaged and excited our members are about improving their careers, which is of course of direct benefit to the network’s customers,” Mr Bonnici said.

First National Real Estate also hosted the course in Sydney earlier in the year for 180 agents from New South Wales and Queensland.
