A boutique brand held its annual awards the other night and an office in a rising city suburb walked away with the Team of the Year award.
Coronis Bracken Ridge was the big winner of the night, taking home the Team of the Year award. Their sales manager, Dion Saab, also walked away with two more trophies, one for Excellence in Customer Service and another for Leader of the Year.
Mr Saab said that the award was a huge honour and that he knew the team had strong competition to take away the award.
“I wasn’t expecting that, but I’m beyond excited and humbled to have won, especially Team of the Year. I know how hard the team worked throughout the year. They really put in a solid effort, so it’s wonderful to have that recognised,” Mr Saab said.
He was keen to stress that the team wasn’t resting on their laurels and already had plans in place for next year’s award.
“We’ve already hit the ground running in FY1,9 so hopefully we’ll be up on this stage next year as well,” Mr Saab said.
Managing director Andrew Coronis said that the awards were a huge success and a chance for all 26 offices to celebrate the year.
“Congratulations to all of our winners in the 19 categories. I couldn’t be prouder of everything they have achieved this past year and the contributions they have made to their teams,” Mr Coronis said.
Mr Coronis also congratulated Anthony Hunt, who walked away with the Tim O’Neill Trophy after a 15-year career with Coronis.
“This award is voted for by the company and recognises someone who is the epitome of our culture and selflessly supports their team professionally and personally, so it was an honour to present that to Anthony,” the MD said.
