Two well-known agencies in Sydney have united under the same brand to strengthen their presence in a lucrative market.

First National Regency Realty officially launched in Chatswood, after purchasing one of the area’s longest-serving franchise agencies.

The newly branded office will be based in the same location near the railway station and will service the region’s highest-density commercial, residential and retail district.

First National Regency Realty principal Simon Boroudjani said that he was excited to welcome onboard the principals of the former franchise, Robert and Christine McElhone.

“The excellence and reputation of Robert and Christine’s sales and property management team is well establish, so it makes for an ideal fit with my team and its commercial expertise,” the principal said.

Mr and Mrs McElhone and their team will be bringing their combined 17 years of experience to the newly re-branded First National Real Estate team.

“We’ll set new standards in Chatswood, reinvigorate local competitiveness and improve choice for local residents and businesses,” Mr Boroudjani said.

Mr and Mrs McElhone said that they were excited to join the First National Real Estate family and couldn’t wait to access everything the brand has to offer.

“The technologies are industry-leading, the support is exceptional and we are looking forward to a new chapter in Chatswood real estate,” Mrs McElhone said.

Mrs McElhone added that the brand was the right fit for their team as they shared many of the same values.

“We love the brand and everything that First National Real Estate represents,” Mrs McElhone said.

According to the latest CoreLogic data, Chatswood’s median house price is $2.3 million but is currently on a downward trajectory with an 8.18 per cent decrease over the year.
