Laing+Simmons hosted its annual awards this week celebrating the best of the best across the agency.
The event was held at the glittering Le Montage in Sydney’s Inner Western suburb of Lilyfield and was attended by offices from all over NSW.
Managing director Leanne Pilkington congratulated all the winners on the night and said that the event was important to the culture of the office.
“Events like this are important to foster strong ties between our people and allow us to reflect on another successful year in a changing, and challenging, market,” the director said.
Ms Pilkington said that the awards recognised the industry newbies and also those that had been in the business for a while.
“The awards night is about honouring the best and brightest people in our network, from the industry stalwarts to those cutting their teeth in real estate,” the director said.
The awards were closely contested throughout the agency’s offices and every winner should be proud, Ms Pilkington said.
“Congratulations to all the winners and runners-up. Each award category was strongly contested this year and the winners should be extremely proud,” the director said.
The Sydney offices had big success, with Laing+Simmons Quakers Hill taking out Office of the Year and the Narrabeen office winning Best Business Growth Gold Award.
For individual awards, D’Leanne Lewis from Double Bay and Paul Abassi from St Marys/Ropes Crossing took out top honours, winning Top Income Producer and Principals Award, respectively.
The Doug Laing Memorial Award, named in honour of founder Doug Laing, is for the office that upholds the values of the company and this year went to Nuri Shik of Potts Point, who also took home the Long Service Award (30 Years).
