One of Sydney’s standout boutique agencies held an inaugural conference aimed at elevating their business ahead of the competition in the ever-changing real estate landscape.

Sydney-based Cunninghams’ held the Elevate and Evolve conference in Manly, which concluded with an awards evening celebrating the year.

Cunninghams has been operating for 27 years and whilst real estate has changed in that time, their business ethos never has according to managing director John Cunningham.

Mr Cunningham said he and Ann Cunningham aimed to create a business-based on relationships, which was how they were able to nab awards like Top Metropolitan Sales Office in Australia at the 2018 REB Awards.

“We are a team of good people, which is critical in achieving great results in a profession that relies on human interaction,” he said.

Mr Cunningham said that the conference was to upskill the team and equip their members with more knowledge to exceed client expectations.

“The more skilled and ready for change our team is, the better we can service our clients’ needs,” Mr Cunningham said.

The conference included a keynote from Simon Illingworth and a range of motivational speakers from agencies like Di Jones and Morton Real Estate.

Mr Cunningham said that putting money into training was a good investment because it would come back to the business.

“By investing in our people, we are ultimately investing in our clients,” he said.

The awards recognised the agencies’ three offices in Balgowlah, Manly and Dee Why, with some big wins from the Andrew Lutze team who took home Sales Team Excellence Winner and an individual award of Sales Individual Excellence Winner for Mr Lutze.
