Two of the largest real estate agencies in the City of Monash in Melbourne have united under the First National Real Estate brand, strengthening the independent cooperative’s presence in one of the country’s rising markets.
First National JXRE has merged with a major Clayton franchise to create a sales and property management “superpower” in the South Eastern Melbourne suburb where 42.4 per cent of residents own their home.
The franchise becomes First National Real Estate Clayton and remains in its high-profile corner location, from where all of the property management services will be delivered.
First National Real Estate JXRE will remain in its equally high-profile corner location, from where property sales and marketing services become the sole focus.
First National Real Estate JXRE principal Jason Xi said that the move was of great strategic value.
“My three-year-old vision is to unite the two teams as a superpower to deliver a business that offers property development, project marketing, sales and property management services,” Mr Xi said.
“As principal of First National Clayton, Barbara Snell brings over 30 years of sales and property management expertise to our consolidated business model.
“She has assembled a team of professionals with an unwavering commitment to excellence, and together, we will accelerate our trajectory of market share growth.”
Ms Snell said that she had always looked for ways to add value to her business.
She added that First National JXRE’s “strong” background in projects and developments will deliver a “well-rounded” service experience.
“I’m looking forward to being able to apply an even greater focus to my team’s property management services,” Ms Snell said.
“It’s what we do best yet we’ll still have a highly experienced sales team for our landlords when the time comes to sell.”
First National Real Estate has 400 offices across Australia, New Zealand and New Caledonia.
