One of Australia’s most high-profile property portals has made a high-level appointment to its board aimed to ramp up the data-driven platform’s cloud proposition.
Domain has promoted Jon McConkey to the position of director, corporate and enterprise, for the group.
Reporting to chief sales officer Tom Ainsworth, Mr McConkey will be responsible for managing and consolidating relationships with corporate partners for Domain’s residential and enterprise divisions.
He will also drive greater exposure to data-driven insights and Domain’s property cloud proposition.
Mr McConkey joined Domain 11 years ago as an account manager and has since jumped the ranks to be most recently Domain’s senior sales director for NSW and the ACT.
Mr Ainsworth said that it was an important promotion.
“We are thrilled to appoint Jon to the position of director, corporate and enterprise,” the chief sales officer said.
“Jon has been an integral part of our team for over a decade. His understanding and passion for the business, strong customer relationships and outstanding industry knowledge make him the perfect candidate.
“As Domain continues to grow and evolve, Jon is well positioned to maintain and grow key relationships with corporate partners and help drive the business forward.”
Mr McConkey replaces David Choi, who is leaving Domain to pursue a new opportunity in November.
Domain is currently recruiting for the role of NSW sales director.
