One of WA’s top agents has joined a unique boutique agency in Perth, which is on a mission to set new benchmarks in client experience.

Damien Lloyd has joined Realty Lane, led by principal Daniel Gonzalez.

Mr Gonzalez said that Mr Lloyd was awarded Master Salesperson for reiwa.com 2018 after successfully selling 70 properties for a value of $31,919,000.

Mr Gonzalez left the music industry just three years ago to embark on his real estate career, and launched Realty Lane.

Mr Gonzalez sang Mr Lloyd praises.

“We are very excited to have the incredible Damien Lloyd join us at Realty Lane,” the principal said.

He said that Realty Lane was moulding the next generation of professionals.

“Implementing strong customer service values and outcome-driven results, Damien uses his strengths in marketing, sales and negotiation to help his clients achieve the best outcome possible every time.”

Mr Lloyd said that he was pleased to have made the move.

“I’m excited to provide the Realty Lane experience to my clients and look forward to what the future holds.”

In starting Realty Lane, Mr Gonzalez believed that spending two hours cold-calling every day and knocking on 100 doors a week would pay dividends. It has.

“What I have found personally is that just when you are about to give up, just when you think this isn’t working, all of a sudden something will come in completely unexpected.”

Mr Gonzalez also said that many agents drop tasks instead of persevering and giving themselves a chance to succeed.

“Much like a fad diet, people start on something and try it for three weeks and then they change it. And then try something else for a little bit and then they drop that, too.

“They keep chopping and changing, and never give anything a long enough chance to work.”

Mr Gonzalez made mention again that real estate is a long game.

“Don’t judge things in a day, don’t judge things in a week, because sometimes we overestimate what we can achieve in a month and underestimate what we can achieve in a year.”
