One ambitious boutique agency has made a significant acquisition, signing on a rising young talent to a new office in Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula — it’s first outside of NSW.

Stone Real Estate has recruited one of the industry’s youngest high achievers, Lauren Wild, as head of the agency’s new Mornington Peninsula office in Victoria, an hour south of Melbourne.

Stone head of franchise Luke Cameron said that attracting “the best and brightest” from such a prestigious region of Victoria speaks volumes for the brand.

He said that recruiting Ms Wild aligns “perfectly” with its expansion ambitions.

“We’re constantly inspired by the fact Stone is attracting the brightest minds in the industry,” Mr Cameron said.

“We’ve opened just over a dozen offices this year, all with leading agents, and Stone is opening in another seven locations in the first quarter of 2019.”

He said that Ms Wild has achieved several accolades in her first decade in real estate, including being the youngest business owner in her previous agency, claiming the 2016 Optus Franchisee Business of the Year award and becoming a finalist in the Optus My Business Awards for Business Woman of the Year.

Ms Wild said that she was drawn to Stone Real Estate’s dynamism as it matched her own.

She also said that Stone allows her to offer clients the latest in marketing expertise.

“Stone’s marketing intelligence was a real standout for me,” Ms Wild said.

“We’re already seeing it now; since we’ve moved across, the quality of our materials is just outstanding.

“It’s a more seamless process and easier to manage. Everything we’ve produced so far is so professional and we’re bringing a huge point of difference to our clients.”

Ms Wild is also known for her work with Fusion Mornington Peninsula, helping young homeless people. She was orphaned at a young age and grew up in less than desirable circumstances.

Ms Wild is joined by her business partner, Malcolm Parkinson.

He is well connected, operating on both sides of the peninsula for 10 years.

Mr Parkinson said that joining Stone provides the team with a “golden opportunity”.

“Real estate is about achieving the best outcomes from the best experience, and Stone enables us to offer exactly that,” Mr Parkinson said.
