Ms Walsh said that it was a great honour to be recognised on a national platform alongside the calibre of the other finalists.

“Winning the award is a testament to hard work and proves that working behind the scenes does get noticed,” Ms Walsh said.

“If you are passionate and authentic, you have a voice and can achieve anything. In my work, I try to set an example for my team, male and female alike.”

Ms Walsh added that the award means a lot after the recent passing of Di Jones, who has been an inspiration to her throughout her career.

“Di is looking down smiling and that’s pretty special,” Ms Walsh said.

“Being recognised with awards like this means that I hope that I can inspire my two daughters and new female talent to the industry. I also want other women to understand they too can put their family first and still be recognised.”

CEO Rob Ward said that the Di Jones team is fortunate to have Kylie as a leader.

“She is a key driver of our strategic plan and keeps the business aligned with our recruitment and growth plans.

“She works tirelessly to ensure Di Jones continues to thrive and her success is well deserved.”

Other finalists in the category were Jodie Hedley-Ward of McGrath Estate Agents Caloundra, Leanne Pilkington of Laing+Simmons Corporation, Monika Tu of Black Diamondz Property Concierge and Sadhana Smiles of Harcourts Victoria.
