McGrath Estate Agents has taken a significant step forward in its market recovery, recruiting a high performer to its leadership team in Queensland, as it accelerates its growth and expansion plans, particularly in the Sunshine State.

Justin Marsden had joined McGrath as state manager for Queensland, while also overseeing its northern NSW footprint.

Mr Marsden brings more than 18 years’ real estate experience as a sale agent, principal, auctioneer and coach.

McGrath head of franchise network Christopher Mourd said that he was delighted to welcome Justin to the management team.

He said that the company plans to ramp up its footprint in the Sunshine State.

“Justin is a quality addition to the McGrath team. His experience as a business owner, agent and auctioneer is second to none,” Mr Mourd said.

“We are looking forward to Justin to have a positive impact on our growth.”

Mr Marsden said that there was much work ahead, and that he was keen to get stuck in.

“We are moving into a challenging market that requires a highly skilled and motivated team to sell property and work transparently to achieve good outcomes for both our vendors and our buyers,” Mr Marsden said.

“I believe McGrath offers an excellent platform from which we can leverage our brand in the region from northern New South Wales to Cairns. I’m excited for the opportunity that is in front of us.”

Mr Marsden said that he is “passionate” about the auction process and will assume the responsibility of chief auctioneer for Queensland along with his other duties.
