Laing+Simmons Hunters Hill on Sydney’s north shore has expanded to the other side of the Lane Cove River, opening a new office in the suburb of Lane Cove, in time for the start of 2019.
Laing+Simmons network growth manager Travis Wentriro said that the move shows positive intent by the team.
“At a time when other agents and agencies are questioning their future in real estate, the career agents at Laing+Simmons Hunters Hill are doubling down and investing in the long-term future of their business,” he said.
Mr Wentriro said that Laing+Simmons always prioritises its existing franchisees when it comes to growing the network into new areas.
“Some of the larger mass-produced brands typically have limited patches, and hence limited business growth opportunities for their franchisees.
“We always seek to support our people in their endeavours to build a strong business and a strong asset for their future.”
Mr Wentriro said that Laing+Simmons is proud to support the Hunters Hill team invest in its future.
Principal Richard Pickton said that being part of a boutique network helps when it comes to growth.
He also said that having a presence in Lane Cove is an important strategic move.
“With a significant proportion of our rent roll in Lane Cove and its surrounds, it makes sense to establish a physical location on this side of the river to better service those customers,” he said.
“It extends to our sales function too, as we’ve worked with numerous customers who have sought to move between Lane Cove and Hunters Hill, and this will enable us to deliver a more seamless service to these customers with the ability to add further value in our dealings with them.”
Mr Pickton said that he is in recruitment mode.
“We’re actively on the lookout to add to our team, especially with people with business development expertise and talented salespeople with expert local knowledge.”
