LJ Hooker has recruited a sales specialist on the Sunshine Coast, an experienced professional who is credited with some of the area’s most lucrative waterfront property sales.

Alan Riley has joined LJ Hooker Mooloolaba’s sales division as co-principal.

Mr Riley has been credited with putting together several million-dollar waterfront sales for Mooloolaba and Minyama sellers over 2018, including a Mooloolaba property that sold for $3.25 million and one on Mooloolah Island, Minyama, that went for more than $5 million.

LJ Hooker state director Stephen Mutton said the Mooloolaba market has been one of the Sunshine Coast’s leading performers for house growth over the last 12 months.

He said Mr Riley has positioned himself as a leading seller throughout Mooloolaba, Alexandra Headland and Minyama over the last decade.

“Alan’s clients speak very highly of him for the results he’s achieved, and his knowledge and connections through the local marketplace are exceptional,” Mr Mutton said.

LJ Hooker Mooloolaba principal Yasna Hawthorne said her agency is growing to accommodate the local market interest.

She said having Mr Riley join her ranks complements both of their future plans.

“Alan has been looking to take his career to the next level and he regards the rejuvenated LJ Hooker brand as the platform for his future.”

Ms Hawthorne said Mr Riley’s commitment to customers is well-known.

“Alan’s professionalism has always impressed me,” she said.

“He has an acute sense for knowing what the market is looking for and partners with his customers to best present their homes or investments to attract buyers.”
