“This year, we have crammed more speakers on stage than ever before and we have stuffed more knowledge and expertise into this two-day program than any Australian conference has ever achieved before.”

Ms Mercorella said that it’s “going to be simply incredible”.

Ms Mercorella added that the summit is designed to help real estate professionals prepare for the year ahead, and beyond.

She said that it will deliver thought-provoking, educational sessions that have practical tips and advice.

“The REIQ is recognised for being practical, being helpful and supporting [of] our members. When you attend the summit, you aren’t bombarded with boastful million-dollar agents making you feel less than.

“You will get practical help from motivators who will lift you up and get you excited about your potential. This is the essence of how we do everything at the REIQ — can we help, can we support, can we lead by example.”

Ms Mercorella said that it is a good way to start the year.

“This is an opportunity to get your year off to a great start by getting all the tools you need to achieve even greater success,” she said.

“It’s going to be one of the biggest and best real estate conferences on the calendar.”

Ms Mercorella said that headline speakers include thought-provoking futurist Steve Sammartino; real estate coach and expert in thriving in a changing market, Rik Rushton; and a woman “who needs little introduction”, Ray White agent Megan Jaffe.

In addition, the summit will cover a full range of topics, including AI with expert Sarah Bell, a leadership panel with Century 21 CEO Charles Tarbey and Megan Jaffe, conquering fear with wave surfer Mark Mathews and digital tips with REA’s Steve Carroll.

The 2019 REIQ Summit will be held at the Royal International Convention Centre in Bowen Hills.
