A well-known TV personality has joined LJ Hooker Avnu in Sydney’s blue chip lower north shore, following his departure from the media industry late last year.

Tom Williams, a former presenter on Seven Network’s The Daily Edition, has begun a new career in real estate, to build on his passion for construction and quality property development.

Mr Williams said it is a natural career progression.

“Through TV you build a lot of trust and rapport with people, and that’s a quality required when you’re entrusted to divest one of your client’s most valuable assets – their home.

“I’m excited about this new direction in my career and particularly the opportunity presented at LJ Hooker Avnu.”

Sales specialist Michael Coombs, who joined LJ Hooker Anvu as a founding sales consultant, has been instrumental in Mr Williams’ career change.

He said he is excited to have Mr Williams on board.

“LJ Hooker Anvu is revolutionising the way we approach real estate and I’m thrilled Tom is on the journey with us. He has a big career ahead of him,” said Mr Coombs.

“Tom is a Mosman local who has been involved in property for most of his life. As a Beauty Point resident, he’s passionate about our area and its people – and his knowledge of the lower north shore market is impressive.

“Already, Tom has five vendors ready to the hit the market and those properties, ranging in price from $900,000 to $9 million, will be advertised in the next couple of weeks.”

Mr Coombs said LJ Hooker Avnu empowers its clients by providing access to advanced tools and “humanized” data.

He said LJ Hooker Avnu “supercharges” sales consultants’ ability to serve clients, creating a tech enhanced full-service agency. By streamlining much of the admin with efficient platforms and tools, consultants are free to spend more time with clients.
