Rising network Stone Real Estate has launched its business into the potential-filled Queensland market this week, together with the appointment of a renowned industry leader at the helm.
Scott Kelly has moved across from the McGrath network.
Mr Kelly said that he was “thrilled” to join Stone Real Estate.
He said that his move was inspired by Stone’s “agility and forward-thinking approach”.
“The agility of the Stone franchise platform gives the brand enormous appeal,” Mr Kelly said.
“This is a franchise platform that enables businesses to grow, and offers technology, marketing, coaching and training to assist franchisees and agents.”
Mr Kelly has almost 20 years of experience, including corporate roles and a decade in residential sales.
He said that he was relishing the challenge to “start from scratch” and bring the “best and brightest” business owners to the Stone brand.
“It is a big advantage being able to establish a Queensland-centric brand right from the beginning,” Mr Kelly said.
“Doing so gives us great agility to optimise the growth potential of Stone’s business in Queensland. This way we can focus on creating a high-performance culture right from the start, aligned with existing operations in NSW and Victoria and therefore attract the highest-performing agents and franchisees to Stone.”
Mr Kelly said that Stone will attract a certain type of agent.
“This is a brand that draws people who are aspirational, smart, bold and have an ability to think and act big — and then gives them the geographical scope to grow their businesses to their proper potential.
“Stone’s franchise model is unique in the way it allows owners to grow and expand their businesses beyond the territories that they’ve been limited to. With Stone, they can expand and not be compromised.”
Mr Kelly praised Stone’s client-centric focus, adding that he will be focusing on leadership as he promotes the brand in Queensland.
“I adore coaching, leading and thinking big and operating at particularly high levels in leading business growth.
“Stone has a progressive approach unique in our industry, is highly adaptable to market shifts, and I’m very much looking forward to establishing this brand in my home state.”
Stone head of franchise Luke Cameron said that recruiting Mr Kelly is a major coup.
“This is a testament to the strategy of Stone Real Estate which has resulted in so much success for the brand,” Mr Cameron said.
“We are going through one of the most rapid phases of expansion and we could not be happier with having someone of Mr Kelly’s talent and experience to introduce the brand to Queensland.”
