One boutique firm in Brisbane has opened a second office as it expands to accommodate the rising demand from its target market.
Hutton & Hutton has opened an office in the leafy inner-city suburb of New Farm, to be led by Peter and Karen Hutton.
CEO and principal estate agent Peter Hutton said that re-establishing in New Farm was a simple choice.
“Karen and I live around the area and we’ve always loved the eclectic, tight-knit atmosphere of the New Farm area,” Mr Hutton said.
“The businesses around here are full of great local people and the vibe they work to create is the whole reason we knew we had to come back, and now we’re across the road from our old haunt.”
Mr Hutton said that the expansion was driven by customer demand.
“We originally planned on keeping things small, but the support we’ve received from the local community has been overwhelming and we’ll definitely be expanding to keep up.
“We’ll be focusing on more inner-city suburbs and looking to expand on our little Hutton & Hutton family with creative, like-minded people with a passion for service and people.”
Mr Hutton said that the firm has grown from a single office to two, with its other agency situated in the suburb of Hawthorne.
Principal-agent of the Hawthorne office Jarrod Perry said that he’s pleased to witness the business’ expansion.
“I’m a south-side person myself; I love the character of Hawthorne with its iconic cinemas and river avenues,” Mr Perry said.
“But New Farm is an absolutely gorgeous suburb, and considering Hutton & Hutton’s history in that area, it’s clear to see why we’ve gone back.”
