One of the leading boutique real estate offices on the Lower North Shore in Sydney has announced a strategic structural change, as it gears itself for growth in the cycle ahead.

Belle Property Neutral Bay co-principals Matthew Smythe and Mark Jackson have bought out their business partner, Tim Foote, and signed a long-term deal with Belle Property at the same time.

Mr Smythe said that both moves were part of a bigger-picture plan to take Belle Property Neutral Bay to the “next level” in its business growth.

He said that Mr Foote will remain the principal of Belle Property Mosman.

“Although we’ve enjoyed being partners with Tim over the years, we are very excited about the future of our business as we continue to grow and provide great stability whilst reinforcing our presence and commitment to one of Sydney’s best pockets,” he said.

Mr Smythe said that Belle Property Neutral Bay is a well-established business with a team of “high-performing” sales agents and property managers.

“We are fortunate to have a team within our business that is highly engaged and motivated, and who truly care about our clients.

“We always say in our office that no one is more important than anyone else, and this has developed great camaraderie among the team and ensures everyone feels empowered.”

Mr Jackson described Belle Property as the best boutique brand in Sydney.

“It’s also one of the most admired and stable,” he said.

“It’s my 13th year with Belle Property on the Lower North Shore, so it was an easy decision for us to sign a long-term deal, as the direction of the Belle Property brand and its leadership is second to none.

“In Sydney’s changing market, it is paramount to have this level of stability and focused leadership, instilling confidence and assurance in one of Sydney’s most highly desirable harbourside locales.”

Mr Jackson said that demand for the area remains high.

“The Lower North Shore property market is going through a softening like the rest of Sydney, but the adjustment is quite mild here by comparison to wider Sydney.

“The area’s underlying strength, which will always underpin demand from buyers, is that it is close to the harbour, ferries and the CBD, and it offers all the best amenities.”

Belle Property Neutral Bay has ranked in the top 10 offices in the Belle Property network for seven consecutive years, while both Mr Smythe and Mr Jackson have ranked in the top 10 principals of the Belle Property network as well as in the REB Top 100 Agents ranking.
