McGrath Estate Agents has recruited a star agent to its Brisbane sales team, to bolster its team servicing Brisbane’s inner city and deliver on its strategy of “restocking” its agent pool.
Roxanne Liu has joined the McGrath Paddington office in Brisbane.
Head of sales for McGrath’s company-owned offices Kon Stathopoulos said that he was pleased to have Ms Liu on board.
“We are delighted that Roxanne will join our existing team of 20 agents in our Paddington office as we continue to focus on what we consider one of the most exciting property markets in the country,” he said.
“This is in line with our plan to restock our agent pool with an exceptional quality of talent, and in this instance, to service both vendors and buyers in a market that has great opportunity.”
Ms Liu, who started her career in 2006 with LJ Hooker, said that after 10 years working six days a week, she decided to take a gap year, reassess her career path and also focus on her teenage daughter.
“For the past five years, we have immersed ourselves in the lifestyle that Paddington offers and love its inner-city sophistication. At the same time, it offers its residents a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. As such, I believe as a property destination, Paddington and its surrounding suburbs will continue to attract out-of-area buyers to the area.”
She said that now joining McGrath was an easy choice.
“In returning to the industry and having had time to reassess my direction and what is necessary to take my career to the next level, the opportunity to join McGrath’s Paddington team was an easy choice.
“McGrath’s brand is iconic and its attention to quality is the best fit for me to take my career to the next level.”
Sales leader for McGrath Brisbane Charles Higgins said that Ms Liu will add tremendous value to the Brisbane team.
“She is highly professional and approachable, and I’ve observed her always putting her clients first. Roxanne has a clear focus on rapport building, and has terrific communication skills between buyers and vendors.”
Ms Liu will focus on servicing the core suburbs of Paddington, Red Hill and Kelvin Grove. In the five years before her hiatus period, she sold between $30 and $45 million in residential property per year.
