Cunninghams’ managing director, John Cunningham, received the Australasian Real Estate Results Awards’ highest accolade, being awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding contribution to the real estate industry.
The ARERAs recognise the achievements of the top-performing independent real estate agents throughout Australia and across the Tasman and is run by the Real estate Results Network.
Following a successful two-year tenure at the helm of the Real Estate Institute of NSW (REINSW), Mr Cunningham has continued his push for the reform of the real estate industry, striving for professionalisation.
In addition to his role as mentor and leader at Cunninghams, Mr Cunningham is now also leading the professional pathway committee of the Real Estate Institute of Australia.
Mr Cunningham paid tribute to his team.
“These awards show the strength of our team, who [is] dedicated to exceeding client expectations and delivering a real estate experience like no one else,” he said.
“We are thrilled to be a member of RERN and look forward to attending the Kickstart Conference and ARERAs every year. The ARERAs represent the peak achievement within the region’s independent property sector, and this year, the field of finalists was by far the finest and most competitive I’ve seen.”
Other achievements of the night include Andrew Lutze who was awarded Australasian Agent of the Year for the third year in a row, Steve Lambley winning NSW Agent of the Year for the second year running and Ben Jones awarded Agent Achiever of the Year Award.
RERN has more than 1,200 members throughout Australia and New Zealand.
The network offers expert coaching support and services to help agencies and their teams reach their full potential, and it has assisted hundreds of principals to improve their real estate business model.
