A high-performing local agent, who is also a distinguished army veteran, has opened the newest Ray White business on the Gold Coast, in Nerang.

Clint Hynes has decided to take the step into business ownership.

Mr Hynes has been an elite performer at his family’s Ray White Oxenford | Helensvale offices for the past six and a half years.

“I’m looking forward to being able to make a difference in the community,” Mr Hynes said.

“Real estate is such a social profession, and I think when you achieve a certain standard and level in this industry, you have an impact on so many people’s lives.”

After a decorated 13-year career in the Australian Army and Special Forces community, including four tours of Afghanistan and two commendations for distinguished service, Mr Hynes initially joined his family’s business, run by his parents Greg and Sally Hynes.

In his first 12 months in real estate, Mr Hynes reached elite status, sitting among the top 3 per cent of Ray White salespeople internationally. In 2016, he set the bar even higher, by becoming the fastest agent ever in Ray White’s long history to reach the coveted Ray White Chairman’s Elite group.

He has now become one of Ray White Queensland’s most awarded agents.

“I’d like to thank my parents for their support over the past six, seven years, my 2IC Brenton Buttigieg for his continual commitment to our team, and finally, I’d like to thank my partner and best friend Samantha Mistal for simply being an amazing person in all aspects of our lives over the past five years. I simply can’t wait to work with her in our new business,” Mr Hynes said.

“For Samantha and I, it’s all about building something you can be proud of and developing a team with a terrific culture. You not only need like-minded people around you to shape something special, you also need real people with skill sets which complement your own.”

Ray White Queensland CEO Tony Warland congratulated Mr Hynes and his partner Samantha on the opening of Ray White Nerang.

“Every so often, a company is rewarded by seeing some of its best members step up and take on a leadership role. Clint, a Ray White Chairman’s Elite member in the top 1 per cent of the company, brings genuine value to the local real estate market and has enjoyed an exceptional career as a high-performing sales consultant,” Mr Warland said.

“He’s now taking the next step into leadership and we look forward to supporting him as he builds his future with the community of Nerang.”

Since late 2014, Mr Hynes has been a driving force behind the Wandering Warriors organisation, a charity initiative supporting Australian veterans and their families.

Mr Hynes has directly assisted in raising over $100,000 in donations, and in 2016 became an official ambassador for the Wandering Warriors.
