Queensland Sotheby’s International Realty has deepened its footprint in the Gold Coast with the recruitment of Hope Island real estate specialist Suni Surti.
Mr Surti and his team, including wife Jay and youngest son Alex, have developed a significant presence in the south of Brisbane since relocating from the UK in 2006.
Queensland Sotheby’s International Realty CEO Paul Arthur said the welcome addition of team Surti supported the company’s continued committed push into the northern Gold Coast region.
“They’re an experienced team of Hope Island specialists who complement the growth we’ve already had and will continue to achieve across south-east Queensland,” Mr Arthur said.
“Suni, Jay and Alex bring depth, talent and knowledge to Hope Island which aligns with our existing extremely successful team structure at Sanctuary Cove and on the Gold Coast.”
Mr Arthur said that Queensland Sotheby’s International Realty had maintained a consistent focus of delivering the best service on the Gold Coast.
“We’ve identified three core areas — north, south and central — and will continue to recruit, hire and develop quality teams and individuals,” he said.
“We see our south-east Queensland sales continuing to be buoyant irrespective of any general market negativity at present.”
Mr Surti said that he has already experienced the value from joining Queensland Sotheby’s.
“Sotheby’s has something to offer no other competitor can offer, and that’s international exposure and reach within their network,” Mr Surti said.
“We’ve already secured listings simply from showing clients what Sotheby’s has to offer. I haven’t been this excited about real estate since I first started working in the industry.”
The Surtis have an extensive background in the building and property sectors, running three businesses prior to their relocation to Australia.
Mr Surti said that he understands the local market and community better than most.
“I started work here in March 2007 when my first job was in sales working in the office of Andrew Winter,” Mr Surti said.
“Andrew was doing a little bit of TV work at the time but didn’t have the profile he has now. The lifestyle here is exceptional with three golf courses all within very close range, and the ability to go shopping or dine out via a quick buggy ride, so there’s no need for a car. The community feel is really special as well.”
