Ray White Whitsunday has recruited one of Australia’s youngest real estate leaders to its sales team as it gears for growth in the northeast Queensland market.

Former LJ Hooker selling principal Jess Hunter has joined the Ray White Whitsunday office.

Principal Mark Beale said that he was pleased to have her on board.

“We are very excited to have such an experienced salesperson like Jess join our team,” Mr Beale said.

“Jess has invaluable community ties within the area and I’m sure she will fit easily into our growing team.”

Ms Hunter said that she has worked in real estate for more than a decade.

“While I am a little sad to shut down the LJ Hooker franchise, I am very excited to join the Ray White Whitsunday team and be a member of Australia’s largest real estate franchise group,” she said.

She added that she was looking forward to focusing solely on increasing her sales business, other than also managing an office.

“I am sure we will have a successful long-term relationship, one where I can concentrate on listing and selling which is what I absolutely love doing.”

Ms Hunter said that she attributes her success to her highly approachable nature and her “undeniable” integrity, honesty and diligence.

“Ray White has definitely become the agency of choice in terms of training, the network and its culture,” she said.

“I’m very much looking forward to joining the group and enjoying where I work.”

Ms Hunter’s appointment follows the recruitment of Sara Perry to its Castle Hill office last week in Sydney.

She returned to Ray White Castle Hill in the role of sales executive, after 13 years away.

“I’m born and bred in Hills district and I’m very proud to be one of the area’s top-performing women in real estate. It means everything to deliver great service to my local community,” Ms Perry said.

“Once I sold my first property, there really was no going back. It gives you an adrenaline rush, and you just want to go from strength to strength from there on.”
