Domain’s Allhomes, a property platform for Canberra, has made a key head office appointment, as it delivers on its plans to drive the Allhomes business forward.

The property site has appointed Danielle Harmer to the position of general manager.

Chief commercial officer at Domain Tony Blamey said that Ms Harmer will be responsible for leading the Allhomes team and continuing to drive the business forward.

He said that with over 15 years of experience working in the tech industry at companies including IBM, The New York Times, Fairfax and EY across development, product, marketing and commercial teams, Ms Harmer is “uniquely positioned” to spearhead the task.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Danielle into her new role,” Mr Blamey said.

“Danielle understands the property needs of agents and buyers in the local community and was a natural fit for this role.

“Allhomes is the leading property site in Canberra, and is going from strength the strength. Maintaining this growth is crucial to the presence and success of Domain in the Canberra market, and I have every confidence in Danielle’s ability to drive the Allhomes business forward.”

Ms Harmer said she was pleased to take on the new role, and that there is much work to be done.

She said she has a “deep understanding” of both the consumer and agent experience with the platform.

“Allhomes has been part of the Canberra community for almost two decades, and I’m thrilled to be a part of such an established local brand. As general manager, I have ambitious plans to invest and grow, while keeping consumers at the forefront of everything we do.

“It’s a privilege to take on this role, and I look forward to working closely with the local community and agents to support and inspire their property decisions.”

Born and bred in Canberra, and a member of the Allhomes team since July 2016, Ms Harmer originally started as the company’s head of product.
