The doors will officially open for the first Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate offices this week; the first two of 15 are scheduled to open this quarter, in The Ponds suburb of the Hills District of greater western Sydney and in Bella Vista north-west of Sydney.
Principal at The Ponds Saeshen Attapallil said this is a significant milestone in Australian real estate history.
“We are very proud to operate the very first Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate office and the whole team have been so excited in the lead-up to this momentous occasion,” he said.
“The team at The Ponds will provide a high-quality, full-service real estate offering to local and potential residents.”
BHGRE senior executive Frank Knez said there has been “strong interest” from principals and experienced sales professionals looking to join the newly launched multimedia real estate brand.
He said this has created a healthy pipeline of applications.
“Interest has come from every state, and I expect this to increase further now that the first Better Homes and Gardens magazine with real estate content has gone on sale nationally, and direct real estate advertising on the television show.
“We’ve already received applications from various suburbs including inner-city Sydney, Strathfield, suburban Sydney, the NSW mid-coast, inner-city Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Melbourne.”
Mr Knez said the initial locations at The Ponds and Bella Vista will both offer a full range of services, including sales, asset management, auctions and development sales.
“The teams will leverage the real estate inclusion in the Better Homes and Gardens magazine to help generate enquiries and win new listings.
“Having already developed a proprietary CRM and a resource hub, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate will now use its broad appeal as a lifestyle brand, coupled with an extensive advertising campaign to grow the franchise network.”
