Ray White has expanded the influence of an existing ace selling duo in the network, who have opened a second office in one of the most rapidly growing regions in south-east Queensland.
High-performing real estate husband and wife duo, Rudy and Alma Grommen have opened a Ray White business in Augustine Heights, in the Greater Springfield region in south-east Queensland.
Mr Grommen said the pair decided to move their existing Brookwater office to Augustine Heights due to the more diverse housing market and customer base in the area.
“The area has experienced some of the most rapid growth in the country, and we are confident this is only going to continue over the coming years,” Mr Grommen said.
The pair already own the Ray White Redbank Plains office, and will continue to service that community while strategically growing both offices.
Mr Grommen said the new office is ideally positioned: two minutes from the Orion Shopping Centre and 800 metres from a new football stadium.
“There are strong opportunities for buyers in this area, particularly investors, which means we will be growing significantly in the property management space.
“There is an interesting mix of housing in this region, with a huge range of pricing from $200,000 homes, up to $1,500,000 homes along the golf course at Brookwater.”
Mr Grommen commenced his Ray White career in 2001 at the Goodna office, where he was awarded Rookie of the Year in the first year, and the Number One Queensland agent based on number of sales in his next three years as an agent.
When they are not busy running their two busy offices, the family have a passion for sport and getting involved in the local community.
Mr Grommen is a passionate cyclist and has completed the 1200km for Kids Charity Bike Ride for the past five years, raising over $50,000 for the children’s hospital and Humpty Dumpty Foundation.
The sporting genes run deep in their family; their son Joshua is a professional football player in Malaysia and daughter Janis is a former Australian gymnastics champion.
Mr Grommen said that they hold similar values of determination and hardwork for their real estate business.
“Our aim over the past 12 months was to bring in a young, dynamic team of agents and mentor them to provide the best possible service to our clients.”
Mrs Grommen said the pair have placed a strong focus on building their team culture, rather than focusing on the individual agents.
“Real estate is not the business of selling homes, it is the business of people and relationships,” she said.
“We practice this philosophy every day to help people achieve their dreams.”
Ray White Queensland CEO Tony Warland said the Grommens and their team are to be congratulated on opening Ray White Augustine Heights.
“We are so proud of Rudy and his team and we know they will thrive in Augustine Heights, an area so full of potential. Being part of the group for almost 20 years, the Grommens are incredibly important members of the Ray White family and we look forward to supporting them and their ambitions.”
