Property app Soho will sign with McGrath to build a better experience for “everyone in real estate”.

Dubbed ‘LinkedIn for real estate’, the Soho app provides a platform for listing properties and for property seekers to connect with property experts.

With 50,000+ downloads and 30,000+ members the app allows owners, agents, buyers and renters to discuss real estate trends.

Head of sales for McGrath Kon Stathopoulous said the move is a step forward for the network.

“Soho introduces a completely new opportunity for McGrath agents to connect with qualified profiles of buyers, investors and owners via their social networking platform and news feed, in addition to a free property listing service that increases leads for our clients,” he said.

“Their approach to creating digital profiles for both agents and property seekers also streamlines any sale or rental leads by allowing agents to focus in on these qualified enquiries based on their online Soho profiles.”

Jonathan Lui, former COO and co-founder of Airtasker.com and CEO of Sohoapp.com, said McGrath is a pace setter.

“McGrath has always been recognised as thought leaders in the industry, setting trends and benchmarks for other real estate agents and brands to follow,” Mr Lui said.

“As an innovative and trusted brand in Australia, we’re excited to be working closely together on creating a better experience for everyone in real estate.”

Soho recently launched News Feeds, a feature to enhance the discovery experience.

“Users will now be able to track trending topics through hashtags such as #firsthomebuyer or #royalcommission, connect to experts in the real estate industry and watch videos showcasing expert knowledge from leaders inside the industry,” it said.

Soho said its listings have grown to 250,000 worth $90 billion. It has seen traffic increase 600 per cent since the start of 2019.

Soho has also partnered with CRM platforms AgentBox, Renet and Box & Dice.
