There are just two weeks left to submit for the REB Awards 2019, which is already attracting significant levels of interest, particularly across some of the new innovative categories.
Submissions close on Friday, 28 June, for the most sought-after business awards for the real estate industry in Australia.
REB is particularly excited about the attention both the Training and Education of the Year and the Wellness Advocate of the Year categories are getting, as these categories are reflective of the enlightened direction the industry is taking, and the enthusiasm with which professionals are embracing it.
The awards have fast become the benchmark of success for Australian real estate, endorsed by all previous winners.
Managing director of Laing+Simmons and REINSW president Leanne Pilkington is a previous winner of the Thought Leader of the Year award in 2017.
Ms Pilkington said at the time that she was “thrilled” with the result.
“I just feel really privileged and I think it is a reflection of the work I have been doing, in particular in promoting women in the real estate industry.”
Also previous winners, Cherie Humel and Michael Clarke, husband and wife principals of Clarke & Humel, which previously won the award for Sales Office of the Year – Metropolitan.
Ms Humel said that winning the award “means everything” to her and Mr Clarke — and to their business.
“Because we work so hard and it is an industry where we put our heart and soul [into], and we are rewarded for every step of the way.”
She also said that the award means a great deal for all of the Clarke & Humel staff members.
“We love our people. Our philosophy is to hire people that we really like and that we see talent and potential in and help them reach their goals as well,” Ms Humel said.
