Ray White has welcomed back a heavy hitter into its network.
Nici Godwin, an experienced and award-winning agent, has returned to the business after a career change, taking on the role of sales agent at its Goolwa/Victor Harbor office in South Australia.
Ms Godwin started her career in real estate when she was just 20 years old, starting off in admin before moving up the ranks.
“I started life with Ray White back in about 2004 in the Goolwa/Victor Harbor office, where I worked as office manager/PA and helped a lot of salespeople starting out in their careers,” she said.
“After four years, my career then changed directions, and it was another 11 years or so before I decided the time was right to move back to the real estate group.”
Ms Godwin said she decided to make the move back into real estate as it was much more than a job to her and that she enjoyed the process of building relationships with the local community.
“It’s so much more than selling a property to me. It’s about getting to know your clients and developing a mutual trust that extends beyond the sale,” she said.
“I’ve made some really nice friendships over the years, to the point where clients from years ago will still invite me over for dinner, or to show me some of changes they’ve made to their home.”
Ms Godwin, who has won a number of awards throughout her career, including Agent of the Year for Goolwa, said technology and the marketing strategies of the company also lured her back to Ray White.
“The technology the group uses is fantastic, and the programs within that technology means my clients will get the highest level of service. Ray White is a supportive group and I love that about the brand,” she said.
Working back in the Goolwa/Victor Harbor office is something she’s looking forward to.
“I had been speaking to South Australia/Northern Territory CEO Matthew Lindblom about career options and I knew this was the best place to give my clients the excellence they deserve,” she said.
“Goolwa is my home. It’s where I live, it’s where I work and it’s where my kids have enjoyed growing up. I’m so happy to live in such a unique area.”
Ray White South Australia/Northern Territory CEO Matthew Lindblom welcomed Ms Godwin back after 11 years away from the network.
“Nici is a very successful salesperson along the south coast, in particular Goolwa,” Mr Lindblom said.
“Nici prides herself on having extensive knowledge of the local property market, with most of her clients coming from referrals and repeat business, due to such a high level of customer satisfaction. We welcome having such an experienced agent like Nici rejoining Ray White Goolwa/Victor Harbor.”
