Global property agency Raine & Horne is “rapidly expanding” into the Central Coast region of New South Wales with the opening of a new office.
The new business will be the 15th office for the brand at Toukley, working on a network that spans the region from Umina in the south to Lake Munmorah in the north.
Led by experienced local agent Matt Rogers, Raine & Horne Toukley aims to offer a comprehensive range of real estate sales and property management services to home owners, investors, tenants and landlords in the region.
Specifically, Mr Rogers will lead the sales team at the new office, while his wife Kerry Rogers will oversee property management and administration.
“Opening a real estate office in Toukley is a dream come true,” Mr Rogers, who worked with Raine & Horne Budgewoi before launching the new office, said.
“It’s been a major life goal of mine. The opportunity to open an office in Toukley with Raine & Horne presented, and I jumped at the chance because this is a suburb I have been working in for 19 years.”
Raine & Horne’s digital marketing technology, Amplify, was one of the reasons for Mr Rogers’ decision to join the super brand.
It uses digital programming, predictive analytics and artificial intelligence to place multiple property ads across Facebook, Instagram and Google, and targets audiences based on their online profile and behaviour.
“Amplify targets the right buyers with the right properties. It’s excellent,” Mr Rogers said.
Mr Rogers intends on using his industry experience to do business.
Since 2000, he has worked with several local independent offices and larger network groups and has been a leading agent for the Central Coast within those businesses.
He remains optimistic for Toukley, saying that affordability will continue to attract buyers to the region.
“The next 12 months will be positive with enquiries robust, and we still have first home buyers and investors jostling for stock. We also have upgraders and downsizers,” he said.
“Even suburbs just 20 minutes south of us, such as The Entrance and Bateau Ba, aren’t attracting this level of interest as buyers have been priced out of these markets.”
He also noted that healthy yields of between 4.5 per cent and 5.5 per cent are proving to be “highly desirable” for Toukley investors.
“Many investors will secure a property, add a granny flat. This savvy addition can push the yield on the property to 8 [per cent] to 10 per cent. Toukley is just a terrific market for investors,” Mr Rogers added.
Raine & Horne executive chairman Angus Raine said Mr Rogers is “an excellent addition” to the network.
“There is very little that Matt doesn’t know about the Toukley market or real estate sales and property management. He is well known within the local community… [and] I’m excited about working with Matt and Kerrie and bringing our unique real estate services to the Toukley region,” Mr Raine said.
